7P3-Makey Makey

Reflection.

My creation was a piano made of playdoh that could make noises when you touch the playdoh. Different pieces of playoh pays different keys from the piano. We connected the wires to the playdoh and the other end to our makey makey which was connected to a string to our computer. Where we had the makey makey piano app on that we used o make the piano noises.

I learned that you can make energy flow through the objects and create noises when you touch it. You can also basically use whatever objects for the project. We also tried using marshmallows for our project. Which worked too, there are a lot of different things that you can make with the Makey Makey project we did.

A challenge was getting all the cords connected to the right spots. To accomplish it i just tried many different things. Then after 1 worked I just continued trying different spots the Makey Makey until everything was working properly. I believe that there was 7 strings we used in total and each of them connected to a piece of playdoh and a spot on the makey makey.

I would make my Makey Makey a bit more detailed, during the time i was making my Makey Makey i needed to restart my project, which meant i had less time to create the rest of my makey makey. We started out making animals using playdoh and crayons and we were going to connect to an animal sounds piano but we struggled to find one that would work. So we decided to make a rainbow piano using a normal sound piano.
