Using tools to break apart a computer, I found different types of pieces in the computer because we wanted to see different pieces in the computers. There was the monitor, motherboard, and keyboard, and much more. This project was very simple.
During this process, I learned several different things about a computer. I learned that the pieces of a computer and much smaller and daintier than I thought they would be. The pieces were also very easy to take apart, although, if we would have had to put the computer back together, since there are so many pieces that would have been difficult. But luckily we didn't have to put everything back._.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I got to pick what project I wanted to do and also got to pick what I did with the pictures. I also struggled sometimes with taking certain pieces off because of my level of strong-ness, but I was empowered and I had to keep going.
A challenge I overcame on this project was being able to take apart the little pieces that were bolted on, Also unscrewing the screws because it took up a lot of time. I was able to do it by using different tools for the tool box.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the project that I chose. Maybe next time do an easier project. The reason why I would change it is because I spent a lot of time on the project and hurt my finger a couple of times which was my bad. But all the time I spent on taking it apart, it caused me to fall behind.
This project connect to careers in software. Because you need to build and take things apart to improve software. And engineering because you need to break stuff and put it back together to improve and test things.
