7p8 makey makey

REFLECTION:

Using computer, playdoh, ipad, I created a makey makey project because I didn't know what a makey makey was and thought it would be a good learning experience. 

• During this process, I learned what a makey makey was and how to make a controller out of clay and how to play a game with playdoh.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because i i make and constructed a controller by myself.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was making the controller out of clay and shaping  it. I was able to do it by making the controller just a square so it wasn't so time consuming.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how i made the controller and what i made for the controller. The reason why I would change it is because there are many more options to make for a controller.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in marine engineer because they construct their own ideas and build it themselves.
