What materials will you need for your project?

3D Printer, iPad, and my computer.

What is your plan to create in this project?

I am going to make a drawer.

What unique qualities will your project have?

It will open and close and hold bobby pins and hair ties.

Using Tinker Cad, 3D printer, and my computer, , I created a drawer because I will now have something to put my bobby pins and hair ties in.
During this process, I learned how to create different stuff with Tinker Cad.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I used the skills I learned to create this projects.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to make the drawers have a opening. I was able to do it by trying different things and getting it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size of my drawers and make sure the handles are connected. The reason why I would change it is because my drawers are too small and one of my handles fell off.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Process engineer.
