7p3 Micro Bit

Using a Micro Bit, iPad and a computer , I created graphical dice because I thought it would be cool to make dice on a computer and be able to us it on a Micro Bit.

During this process, I learned programming is a lot harder than it looks but once you understand it you will be good at it.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I had to understand the operations of programming.

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to program and download the things I programmed to my Micro Bit. I was able to do it by asking my friends for help.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change asking for help as soon as I did. The reason why I would change it is because I need to try to figure things out by myself and if I tried multiple times and could not get it I will ask.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in IT Software Engineer 12 .
