Part 1: The Letter

A giant IRS letter crashed through the Minions' roof.

"You owe one million bananas in taxes," Kevin read.

The Minions screamed.

Bob screamed so hard he swallowed his banana.

Part 2: Panic Mode

"Hide the bananas!" yelled Kevin.

Minions stuffed bananas into couches, toilets, and somehow a fish tank.

One Minion hid inside a banana for safety.

Nobody knew why.

Part 3: The Audit

The IRS arrived.

An agent opened the expense report.

"What's this charge for: Rocket-Powered Shopping Cart?"

"Business," said Stuart.

"And Emergency Dinosaur Costume?"

Bob slowly walked by dressed as a T-Rex.

The agent wrote something down.

That was not a good sign.

Part 4: Banana War

The IRS tried to take the bananas.

The Minions fought back.

Bananas flew everywhere.

Forklifts crashed.

Bob drove through a wall.

Three different Minions slipped on the same banana peel.

Then Kevin accidentally launched a banana catapult directly into an IRS van.

"Uh-oh."

Part 5: Guilty

A judge looked over the case.

"You hid bananas, destroyed property, and attacked federal vehicles with fruit."

The Minions smiled and gave him a banana.

"That is not helping," said the judge.

Five minutes later, the Minions were sentenced to jail.

Bob tried to escape through a drawing of a door he made with crayons.

It did not work.

Part 6: Jailbreak... Sort Of

In jail, the Minions built a banana-powered tunnel.

Unfortunately, it led straight into the prison cafeteria.

They accidentally became model prisoners because they spent all day making smoothies for everyone.

After one week, the warden gave up.

"Please just leave."

The Minions cheered.

"We learned nothing!" shouted Kevin.

"BANANA!" yelled everyone else.

• Using a merge cube, ipad, and a computer, I created a funny ilustration of the minions escaping the IRS because they havent paid banana Taxes because one of my favorite movies and I thought it be funny to put them in that position, because they are always getting in funny trouble.

• During this process, I learned how to use augmented reality.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I didnt know how to even use this stuff but I learnt by watching and asking ppl.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was that the models werent showing. I was able to do it by restarting the Ipad multiple times.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the prision scene. The reason why I would change it is because I didnt give it as much time as I wanted.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in Figure Model because they make models for other people for certain projects.
