Walkie Talkie

• Using a microbit, I created pieces of code to make the microbit do certain stuff like a groupchat with my freinds because I thought it would be a good challenge.

• During this process, I learned that I had to make the code in just such a way or else everything would go wrong, this was a really big challenge for me because im not really good at coding.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knwledge Constructor because I had myself search how to properly code a microbit.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was that my microbit didnt actually do everything I expected it to do. I was able to do it by

 making changes on my code depending on the problem to make it adapt to the problem.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the code for the termostast. The reason why I would change it is because I fell like its too simple i want it to actually show the number instead of just showing an arrow.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Progamming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in Software Engineer because thay code the software that makes computers do what they are meant to do this is also something i would like to do because its interesting.
