7P8 - "Stop Motion"

Using iPad, Legos, iMotion, and computer, I created a Lego movie about a farmer giving food and shelter to the homeless because it was fun and it it was a good deed.

During this process, I learned how to make a stop motion.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to  because Innovative Designer because my partner and I came up with a good idea that is a good deed. My project also ties to Global Collaborator because I added it to my website. 

A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the roof of the barn to stay on. I was able to do it by making sure every piece was put together and connected by a different piece.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change I think everything. The reason why I would change it is because I didn't really like how in the end it was all put together. I think if we didn't just make it about her giving food to the homeless and didn't make every scene that it would have been better. 

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in engineering because we made a barn, house, garden, food, pond, and a duck using clay and legos.
