8P2-CoSpaces

Useing CoSpaces I created an immersive farm. I created a farm because I thought in VR some people will, at some point use VR to get away from the terrors of the real world and be able to game or live in a separate environment. My world builds on my thoughts by having both, I have a small par core coarse to get to a large cloud, it also includes a world of interactive and "alive" creatures.

During the process of creating my world, I learned how to scale things to each other. Using the camera for VR I had to scale my camera to the others in the world such as the old farmer. This could apply to making anything visual, such as a video game.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I designed a world, that others can have fun on.

A challenge I overcame on this project was scale, I had to scale my people and animals to the height of the camera. I was able to do it by going into the world in vr and making sure everything looked to scale.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the grass and trees. The reason why I would change it is because I don't think that my project looked rural enough.

This project connect to careers in Agriculture and the Agriculture program at Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program.This connects to Agriculture because if I could make it more immersive, I would be able to show people plants so they could study the animals and plants.
