Day 1. today I started planning on what to do for my project and decided to make a cardboard candy dispenser

Day2. today I made my base for my candy disperser and worked on my website for the rest of the time i had in class

Using cardboard and hot glue, I created a candy dispenser because it was assigned.
During this process, I learned how to make a candy dispenser.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because a creative communicator is a person who expresses their creativity by using new strategies and stuff around them and I think that describes what I did here..
A challenge I overcame on this project was building the dispenser hand to stay in the box. I was able to do it by looking at YouTube.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how big i made the dispenser. The reason why I would change it is because i didn't have enough candy for how much space i made the box for the dispenser.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in engineering and Tool Design Engineer .
