Day 3: Started design on flag
Day 4: Put flag and logo together, thinking on more designs to do.
Day 5:Diched first logo made own added Viking runes as words added family names.
Day 6:Diched 2 logo put words with stars.
Day 7: Made new flag and logo kept stars, and finished it up.
Using Google drawing, I created a flag because I waned to show that even if you are young you can design cool stuff for free.
During this process, I learned how to use google drawing, and to translate words to Viking runes.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I created my project to make a different looking flag than normal and make it look better, and also have meaning to people with what the Viking runes say.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not really knowing what to do. I was able to do it by thinking hard on what to do, and not trying to stay on one design that I had in the beginning.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what site I was using. The reason why I would change it is because Google Drawings is hard to use, and doesn't have a lot of tools.
