Are you working by yourself or in a team?
By myself
What materials will you need for your project?
laser cutter, wood, tinker cad
What is your plan to create in this project?
an aromatic feed and counter
What unique qualities will your project have?
tabs for connection
Using tinker cad, I created an automatic feed and counter for my coin sorter that I made in 8p3. I made this because it is a slow process loading them one by one and you still half to count them.
During this process, I learned that it is hard to make stuff fit the board so you half to break it up into multiple drawings.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I desined a product using digital tools.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the right slope. I was able to do it by matching it up with the old slope.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size of the feed hopper. The reason why I would change it is because it is kinda small.
