I am coding blocks to make a game.

It will be a simple game that even young children could play and understand.

Using Bloxels, I created a simple game because it was the assignment given.
During this process, I learned how to code Bloxels into a simple game.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because it is a game that people can play and see what work I have done.
A challenge I overcame on this project was being distracted by classmates also working on this project. I was able to do it by focusing and getting done what I needed to do.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how long the game is. I would make it a longer game and not so short. I would make it more interesting for older kids. The reason why I would change it is because it was really short and if it was longer people might enjoy it more.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. This is because I used digital tools like the internet and iPad to create something for entertainment. My project connects to careers in Video game designer or Software Developer.
