7P9 Stop Motion

Using the app imotion, I created a two part story about a sailor and an astronaut because a sailor and astronaut were the things I wanted to make a stop motion about.

During this process, I learned how stop motion works.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I made a story that shows my creativity and building skills.

A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the space ship to crash. I was able to do it by setting the intervals to .1 second to take the pictures and dropping the ship.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way the ship crashed. The reason why I would change it is because it looks like the ship was thrown.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in building and modeling buildings.
