Using CoSpaces, I created an adventure in space with a hidden level because I wanted people to be excited when they find the secret level.
During this process, I learned how to code characters in my game.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I created a game of my own design.
A challenge I overcame on this project was coding the characters. I was able to do it by watching a walkthrough on how to code characters.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the characters I used. The reason why I would change it is because the characters I used were the same person and it could get boring.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programing CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in making video games and coding.
