7p2 Cardboard project

Using cardboard, I created house that opens the top of the roof to see inside.

During this process, I learned how to make a house out of cardboard and a working latch that moves to unlock the roof.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I designed a cardboard house with a hatch that move to get a better look inside.

A challenge I overcame on this project was making the latch to move. I was able to do it by getting help from one of the people helping me with my project.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the color of the house. The reason why I would change it is because the color doesn't match an astatic of a house.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in art.
