7p8 Makey Makey

• Using  playdoh alligator clips, I created  a lot of different projects. These projects acted such as play-doh controller, and space bar. I made because these were a couple ideas I thought of.  

•  During this process, I learned that not all projects that deal with your computer deal with coding. In addtion I learned that what a Makey Makey was. I had to realize how I had to use it.

•  The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner, because I was the one who chose what to do. I made the project. I made my design come to life.

•   A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the makey makey to work. I was able to do it by asking a friend and getting help. It was hard for me to also figure out where everything went. To solve this me and autumn walked around and looked at what people were doing and asked questions and then made our project with little mistake 

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change and do a more complex project.  The reason why I would change it is because my projects weren't as good as I wished they were.  I would also change the stuff I used instead of play-doh I would want to use other things.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in graphic art because they combine art and technology to communicate ideas through images and the layout of websites and printed pages. We did that throughout our project.
