Using sphero edu and the sphero mini, I created a way for the mini to speak and change while doing things and back because i was going to make it go threw an obstacle course but i ran out of time .
During this process, I learned how to code better than the first time and how to change it so it can speak.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because you have to code the mini to do as you say and it can take a lot of tries and sometimes a complete remodel.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making it actually say things when something happens.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my whole plan and make do something cool and not lame. The reason why I would change it is because i could of gotten a better result and a cooler project done if I spent more time on the project and just tried harder in general.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in cars because you can program it to stop before hitting something or to communicate.
