I made a pencil holder to hold my pencils. Something I learned to do was to decide what the height and width was to be I ended up with 30 height and 2 width. The standards my project tied to are. One a Empowered Learner because I understood the fundamental concepts of technology operations, demonstrate the ability to choose, use, and troubleshoot current technologies, and are able to transfer their knowledge to explore emerging technologies. Two a Digital Learner because I demonstrated an understanding of and respect for the rights and obligations of using and sharing intellectual property. Three a Knowledge Constructor because I built knowledge by actively exploring real world issues and problems, developing ideas and theories, and pursuing answers and solutions. Four a Innovative Designer because I exhibit a tolerance for ambiguity, perseverance, and the capacity to work with open-ended problems. Five a Computational Thinker because I formulated problem definitions suited for technology-assisted methods such as data analysis, abstract models and algorithmic thinking in exploring and finding solutions. Six a Creative Communicator because I choose the appropriate platforms and tools for meeting the desired objectives of their creation or communication. Seven a Global Collaborator because I explore local and global issues and use collaborative technologies to work with others to investigate solutions. A challenge I had to overcome was to find how to keep my name on the pencil holder but I couldn't so I decided to get rid of it. Something I would do differently would be to add some cool design to it so it would't be as boring. This could help me in future careers because I could make a company selling pencil holders for people who don't have a pencil holder to hold their pencil.
