7P2-Cardboard Challenge

Using cardboard, I created a farm because me and Oakley agreed on it and we thought it would be cool.

During this process, I learned how to build things with cardboard and make use of what materials I have.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because we were able to fix the problems we had and were able to come up with a plan.

A challenge I overcame on this project was not being very creative. I was able to do it by coming up with more things and ideas with Oakley.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the roof on the 2nd building. The reason why I would change it is because it looks kinda ugly and the pieces of cardboard are unequal.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Product Designing because first, we had to sketch out what we wanted to build and then we built it.
