Using Tinkercad, I created a potato holder because I needed to have something to put my potato slices in.
During this process, I learned why I should make sure I group all of the contents of the design.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I didn't use someone else's design for my project.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not being able to place objects evenly together. I was able to do it by turning snap grid off. Given a chance to do this again, I would change the design. The reason why I would change it is because a potato holder doesn't really have a practical use.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in 3D graphics engineering.
