This is a picture of a BB-8 made by Sphero. I made this go up 2 ramps.
Using a BB-8 made by Sphero, I created two ramps that the BB-8 successfully went over because.
During this process, I learned how to build and support a ramp that a BB-8 can go over.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I had to learn how to make the ramp low and stable enough to drive over it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding the right height of the ramp so that the BB-8 could go over the it without falling down. I was able to do it by making the ramp shorter and shorter each time it failed.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change it to be a harder task I felt like that was to easy and I am capable of doing more. The reason why I would change it is because I only went up 2 ramps.
