I chose my project to try to make a Sphero go through a maze.
Using a Sphero, I coded it to go through a maze. I did this because I thought it would be cool to code something for the first time ever.
During this process, I learned how to work the Sphero and start the coding and build the maze it was going through.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational thinker because you have to think out the process to code your sphero to do what you want it to do.
A challenge I overcame on this project was to figure out how to send my video from the I pod. Last time i had to do it from the I pad and they're two different processes. I was able to do it by asking my friend and classmate how to send it and he showed me step by step how to do it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I did. At first I was going to do an obstacle course, but I didn't have time to do something that complex . The reason why I would change it is because the maze was to short and really easy to do, I latterly got it done in have a class period.
