Using cardboard, hot glue, scissors I created puppets because thinking of puppets I think about something fun, and professional. learning how to make something like this can be hard, but easy if you do it the right way. During this process, I learned how to structure and base a puppet with only cardboard, add on hair professionally, and make an adjustable body. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to the empowered learner because it was my job to learn how to make this so I built it correctly, and how I was instructed to build it. A challenge I overcame on this project was timing issues. I was able to do it by realizing I didn't have a lot of time so I made sure to hurry and do as much as I could. Given a chance to do this again, I would change the neck structure. The reason why I would change it is because it doesn't hold up like it's supposed to. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to engineering design.CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in construction trades because we were learning how to construct; build an object.
