Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
By myself
What materials will you need for your project?
a computer and a tablet
What is your plan to create in this project?
I tried to make a game where you have to escape the iglo
What unique qualities will your project have?
one of them is coding and thinking and finding what else could I do to escape
Using Virtual Reality, I created an escape room because I saw a preview of one and it looked cool so I made one.
During this process, I learned that you make mistakes but you can fix those mistakes most of the time.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to an Empowered learner because it takes time to think of how to code and I used some coding in this project.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to code some more. I was able to do it by watching some videos on how to code a door so I can open it when I picked up the key .
Given a chance to do this again, I would change watching tutorials on how to do some stuff. The reason why I would change it is because I feel like I could do it without watching them.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to Technical Education careers because it took some coding and coding is pretty hard to do.
