Are you working by yourself or in a team?

No, I am working by myself.

What materials will you need for your project?

I need a computer, and a Micro-Bit. Also a speaker if i want too connect it to a speaker.

What is your plan to create in this project?

My plan is to just have fun expirmenting making many different projects on the Micro-Bit.

What unique qualities will your project have?

My project will have cool designs and fun creations/animations.

• Using a computer, a Micro-Bit and a speaker with aligator clips, I created a speaker for the Micro-Bit to add sound to my othe rprojects or creations because I think music makes things more interesting. I didn't do any other projects with music other than when i connected the Micro-Bit to my headphones. For both of these  I made them play a little melody for people to listen to.

• During this process, I learned how to create codes for my Micro-Bit to follow. I followed step by step demonstrations to learn how to code the Micro-Bit. It was easy when  I had help from the steps because I have never used one before. 

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructer because I had to go online and find videos on how to use the Micro-Bit. It also ties to Global Collaborator because I put all of my work online. 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was how to create long codes for certain projects. I was able to do it by following the provided steps that help guide you to what you need to do. The steps showed me where all of the coding blocks were and what categori they were under.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of projects I made or do more difficult projects. The reason why I would change it is because I think I would enjoy it more if  I made projects that challenged my brain. I wish I wouldn't have gave up on the compass.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to Computer Programming because I was programming a tiny computer to do things. I used code to program it and tell it what to do and when to do it.

• My project connects to careers in AI Programmer  because it  Programs non-player character (NPC) behaviors, pathfinding, and decision trees. I think this would be fun. I would have to program the NPC characters to do stuff.
