Planning Questions

Are you working by yourself or in a team? By Myself

What materials will you need for your project? I will need a iPad, Music, Pictures, a Computer, my Voice, and a Microphone.

What is your plan to create in this project? I will create a movie about my favorite hobby's, sports, teams, food, and rock bands.

What unique qualities will your project have? My project will have personal pictures, expirences, and my favorite music.

Picked my images, started using iMovie.

Day 4

Worked on my voice overs for my movie.

Uploaded my movie and started my reflection questions.

Reflection:

Using an iPad, iMovie, images, and music, I created a movie about my favorite sports, hobby's and things I love because I wanted to share with everyone what I do and love. I love to play sports because it keeps me active and in shape. I feel good about myself when I am in shape and am able to do the extra things I love.
During this process, I learned how to use imovie to make a short movie. Also how to use all the editing settings to make my movie the best it can be. After I got the hang of it I ended up with a movie that represnts who I am.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I created a movie and shared it with the world. My project also ties to Innovative Designer because I design a video on the internet.
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding the right sound affects to use. I was able to do it by looking through all of the sound affects on the list in iMovie. iMovie didn;t havee a lot of sound affects to pick from so I had to use what was provided.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the length of my movie. The reason why I would change it is because I wish I could share more things about me so pepole can get to know me. I would add more about my pets and family activities I love to do.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project ties to digital multimedia because I can only see my project through a screen.
My project connects to careers in Video Making and Editing because I made a video that had a bunch of editing put into it to make it perfect. I had fun doing this project so I think I would enjoy video making and editing. I liked learniing how to edit videos to make them cool.
