Using video editing software and design tools, I created a digital project presentation because I wanted to clearly communicate my ideas and show my learning in a creative way.

During this process, I learned how to organize my ideas, use technology more effectively, and improve my problem-solving skills.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I used digital tools to express my ideas clearly and effectively to an audience.

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to use the editing software correctly. I was able to do it by watching tutorials and practicing until I understood how it worked.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the design and layout of my project. The reason why I would change it is because I could make it more visually appealing and easier to understand.

My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
