Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
By myself and not in a group.
What materials will you need for your project?
3D printer, Computer, Tinkercad, and a I-pad
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to create a multifunctional Tooth Brush Holder.
What unique qualities will your project have?
I will have a hole for a tooth brush and a place for booby pins.
I got introduced to it.
Randomly built things.
I worked on building a tooth brush holder.
I tried to make a jewlery box.
I made a hair tie holder for our bathroom.
I made a bathroom organizer and I finneshed my reflection.
Using a computer and a 3D printer, I created a toothbrush and tooth past holder because my toothbrush is always laying around the counter with my sisters. Another reason why is because when ever we are in the bathroom some ones toothbrush gets pushed into the sink. The reason why I wanted to make this is because my sisters toothbrush is always touching mine.
During this process, I learned how to make holes in a solid block because I needed to know how. I learned how to group things so it would all stick together and not just be a bunch of random shapes. The next thing I learned how to do was see how tall my figure was so I didn't go past the hight and langth requirements.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I was safe on the internet and I didn't copy other peoples work on the internet.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making holes in the solid object and grouping things together. I also had trouble turning around shapes and turning them a sertain way. The last thing I had trouble on was I was able to do it by watching the help videos that were online at home.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my project to a earring holder or a hair tie holder. The reason why I would change it is because I didn't like the way the shapes looked.
