Using iPad and computers, I created a farm and family because I wanted to create a farm and house because that is something I enjoyed.
During this process, I learned how to use a Vr and navigate my characters to the size and place I want them to. I found it semi hard to get the sertent size I wanted.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to a Knowledge Constructer because I learned by myself how to move things and size things and a little bit teaching to other kids.
A challenge I overcame on this project was sizing. I was able to do it by many practicing's of sizing but i've also used many building games that have also helped me.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size and setup of the farm. The reason why I would change it is because when I join the game everything is SO big.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School because I had to make it life like and move.
My project connects to careers in 3D art because the characters are 3D and not just flat.
