Using the micro bits, I created a welcoming sign and light show because I thought it would be welcoming and nice.
During this process, I learned how to use micro bits and download them to the actual bit.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered because I create and learn to use different features of the computer and micro bits.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not understanding how to work with the micro bits. I was able to do it by reading the Student reference sheet and asking for help.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how I did my micro bit coding. The reason why I would change it is because I felt I could do it better than I did, and explore micro bits a little bit more than I did.
