Using cardboard, scissors, hot glue, hot glue gun and paper, I created a train because I like trains and wanted to see if i can make something that looks okay.

During this process, I learned that it is matter to talk and discuss about what you want to do and work together to make something great.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties Innovated Designer and Empowered Learner  because my group set goals  and plans to make and create a thing. and kept track of the things we did daily to our project. Also we resolved problems in our project. A challenge I overcame on this project on this project was creating thye wheels of the train  I was able to do it by tracing the best wheel and make it as circal as possible and as detailed as possible .

Given a chance to do this again, I would change is try and make the hot glue more neat and give it a lot more details and just really make it pop. The reason why I would change it is because it looks a little sloppy and I think , me and my group could do way better and make it cooler and more color full.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects  Enginering Design and Construction Trades in CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Industrial thinking  because It merges art, engineering, and business to optimize a product's usability.
