7P3 - Micro:Bit

Using my micro bit, I created fun games. Also I created music. Because it was fun and cool and I wanted to code.

During this process, I learned how to code. Also I learned how to hookup speaker to my micro bit. Also I learned how to play flapy bird on a micro bit.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I overcame problems while coding. Also because I came up with new ideas of what to make.

A challenge I overcame on this project was hooking up the speakers. I was able to do it by moving he clips around. Another challenge I overcame on this project was not having two micro bits to do messages. I was able to do it by working with a class mate.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change is the beats that fuse together in my hard rock blues song. The reason why I would change it is because it would be more close to the real song. Also it would sound better if I did this.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to this CTE program because I used programming to make my micro bit do stuff.
