8p6 Lazer cutter

Using Tinkercad and laser cutter, I created my football number and put text under it because I thought it would be cool to hang it in my room.

During this process, I learned how the laser cutter works. Also, I got help from lp to show me how to send it.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because I made the text. Also I figured it out and didn't stop till I was finished.

A challenge I overcame on this project was being unable to send it. I did it by asking people who have already done it to show me how to do it.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the text and maybe add different quotes. The reason why I would change it is because to make it more interesting and meaningful.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in construction because they will also measure before they cut something and they also use laser cutting.
