PLANNING QUESTIONS

Are you working by yourself or in a team?

I am working with Milo Oliver.

What materials will you need for your project?

I will be needing cardboard,cardboard scissors,duct tape, and markers.

What is your plan to create in this project?

my plan is to build the parts i need and ensemble them as planed.

What unique qualities will your project have?

My project will be able to move like a Lego and and be very unique and special as being Milo's Roblox avatar.

The first day me and Milo were gonna make his Roblox character, Carousel. we first made the torso, then we cut the edge in half to make the body more curvy.

Day 2: Me and Milo made the head and finished up most of the body.

Day 3, me and Milo finished the head and put the rest of the body together.

Day 4 me and Milo put the arms on (which took FOREVER!!) Me and Milo were searching for 15 mins just to an arm. We eventually found an arm. Shelby gave us another arm she found but it would not stick to the shoulder we found so we just cut a thin peice of cardboard and just used that instead.

Day 5 me and Milo put the legs on and added the finishing touches, decoration Carousal.

Using Cardboard boxes, I created A Roblox Character because I wanted to try some thing out of my comfort zone.
During this process, I learned It is really hard to make a head with cardboard and duck tape and that working by your self would be way harder than have your own ideas so Milo helped and we did way better than i could do myself.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I shared my thought on the project and so did Milo and we decided how to make the body, head and arms better and how to improve the thing that were harder than the other thing like listening to each other than rather just doing it and it turning out horrible.
A challenge I overcame on this project was when we had the give the character some arms. I was able to do it by asking the people around us to help and get their ideas on how we could try to make the arms stick.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way me and Milo used our time. The reason why I would change it is because If we spent more time doing the project rather than changing how to do thing every minute we would've got done fast but also make the not so good qualities of it better (the head).
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Construction trades CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Construction trades because I had a hands on learning environment the a more digital environment.
