Day 1

Made the Micro Bot show my name.

Made a love meter and shapes.

I learned how to play Snap the Dot.

I made the game Salute.

I started working on Crashy Bird.

I started working on fixing the code for Crashy Bird.

I am very close to fixing Crashy Bird.

I kind of gave up on Crashy bird and this was the game im also done with this project.

Reflection

Using a Micro Bit and a computer, I created a few games and commands because I like games and coding.
During this process, I learned how to code using blocks and making games.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because we learned how to make games by other peoples instructions.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out the missing pieces in the code. I was able to do it by asking friends.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change not giving myself enough time to make Crashy Bird. The reason why I would change it is because I really wanted to try to finish making the game.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Video game designer because they code and develop ideas and prototypes for a game's mechanics.
