I have never really used iMovie before, but I will try to make the 'style' of the video to put interesting things that quite a few people don't really know about me, and trying to keep it original.

Today, I Wrote down my list of 10 Ideas, answered the questions, and I'm starting to look at images for my project.
Today I was sick/absent, so no work was done...besides thinking.
Today, I was Googling more images, and starting to add them to an iMovie.
Today, I did my voice over + added sound effects, and I did more editing.
Today, I wrapped up editing my movie, and uploading it into my files/drive.
Today, I started to type my resolution, and the photos of progress and uploaded my photos to the website.
Using the classroom iPad, and iMovie, I created a video all about me. In the video, I shared activities I like to do in my free-time, my favorite activities, and things about me that make me 'unique'. I created this video for the purpose of my peers to learn who I am, and what I do after school. My hope is that the video I made will make it easier for my classmates to know me a little better, and hopefully find some things we might have alike.
During this process, I learned how to edit videos on iMovie, which was very challenging for me. I also learned how to correctly add videos to a google drive file for uploading things. The most interesting thing I managed to learn during this project though, was how to do voice effects and sounds for iMovie, and how to correctly publish on my website.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I did my best to create a video using a completely new platform, which was very challenging for me! Another reason why is connects to a Creative Communicator is because I created this video to express who I am, and to describe to my peers what I enjoy. Lastly, it connects because I created this video with the attempt of being original and creative so it is easy to understand.
A challenge I overcame on this project was physically editing the video and learning how to edit using iMovie. I was able to do it by asking my peers for help in understanding how to use the iPad and iMovie. Another way was watching tutorials at home, which really helped with some understanding for the project. Lastly, I overcame it by knowing that I was doing my best, and to use my best effort. Doing that made me less stressed with this project and made it easier to use things without overthinking it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I describe myself, and the way I edit my video. The reason why I would change it is because I wasn't really happy with the result of the video. It really looked like I didn't put so much effort into the project because I was so new to using iMovie. The video's images were also really pixelated and not clear, which made me upset in the way it looked in the end. The video was also really glitchy and chopped. It had many mistakes to it, and my voiceover was not the best.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. The reason it connects to Digital Multimedia is because I used the classroom iPad to create a digital project all about me. Using the iPad for a digital project to describe me was filled with trial and errors, I had to look for certain photos that I would find nice for the project, and sound effects to describe who I am socially and outside of the classroom. Utilizing the iPad with iMovie was challenging for the first time, but that is the main reason why it connects to this project being with Digital Multimedia! They each deal with social work, and the use of technologies similar to the iPad for projects.
My project connects to careers in Freelance workers, because I worked independently on this project, and freelancers are known for their independence with their work. It also connects because they each deal with projects, which mine was creating this video to describe myself! Another reason they connect is because a freelancer has the freedom to do whatever they want with their short-term or long-term projects, and to control how they would like them to be, and I did that with my project with trying to make it original and creative for entertainment.
