DAILY LOG:
DAY 1: We got everything set up and ready to go for the project.
DAY 2: We started coding and getting the micro: bits out.
DAY 3: I put the coding in the micro: bit to make my name run across it. I took a video and put it into iMovie but I haven't uploaded it yet.
DAY 4: I Uploaded the movie to the computer and put it on the website, it took longer than expected.
DAY 5: I snipped the coding of the project and uploaded it to the website.
Using Micro: Bits, I created a name badge because I thought it would be cool.
During this process, I learned how to code my name onto a Micro: Bit.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project is tied to Global Collaborator because all of my work is being put onto the website that is shared with the world
A challenge I overcame on this project was uploading my video to the computer with an iPad. I was able to do it by turning the iPad off and then turning it back on.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change The way I made the video. The reason why I would change it is because my hand is in the background and it makes it look weird.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in computer programming because all computers need coding to work.
