2nd 3d print

Using a 3d printer, I created a tik tok cup because it sounded fun and I haven't made something like this before and it is something that I like .

During this process, I learned that it can be very difficult to make words stay on a cup and that you have to make it just perfect for it to stay on. This learning was important because if I didn't line it up good enough it would have fallen off and not been attached and my cup would not have been how i would have liked it to be.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because I had to set personal goals to be able to make the cup be able to function as a cup and not be all messed up.I also had to understand how to make it without messing the whole cup up.

A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to put letters onto the cup and having them stay instead of falling off when I tried to take the extra filament off. I was able to do it by practicing lining up the cup and the lettering on the cup so that I wouldn't have to glue them back onto the cup and having it look wonky.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how the lettering on the cup looks like. The reason why I would change it is because the lettering is not centered on the cup so it bothers my hand when I hold it instead of it not being whee my fingers would go. I would change it by trying to make the letters lined up in the middle of the cup instead towards one side or the other because it would make it way more comfortable to hold in my hand instead of stabbing my hand when I try to hold it.

This project connects to the carrier of engineering or design.This is important because it could make me have a really good job and could help me make a business in the future.
