• Using circuit playground , I created clapping lights, because I thought it would be cool making the clapping lights because I thought it would be cool to clap then the lights would turn on. During this process, I learned how to code clapping lights and how it works. It was also very cool trying it.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I learned how to code clapping lights. Also used Circuit playground.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was coding the lights to go off after. I was able to do it by doing reaserch and adding differences to the tortorial. Also turned the pixels black after to make it turn off after 2 seconds of it being off or just by pushing the reset botton.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change actually being at school those days. The reason why I would change it is because I got a little left behind in all work but I got it done. Also the pixels because I didnt know if I should do white or black for the clapping lights then I researched and found it.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programing CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in code engineering.
