Reflection on my project:

• Using cardboard, I created a card board shoe  because me and my partner both like shoes and thought it would be cool to make a shoe and try to wear it.

• During this process, I learned how to build things  out of cardboard and make sure it stays together and doesn't fall apart .

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I design a project and i tested ideas that I thought would work and I also made a plan for my project.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was when we weren't allowed to use  the Nike symbol . I was able to do it by my partner Audrey coming up with an idea and having an A instead of a Nike symbol.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how around the base of the shoe is made I would make it one big strip instead of little  squares I cut . The reason why I would change it is because  it looks a bit messy and took up more glue witch also makes it look more messy and took more time to do that.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the construction trades  CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in building trades because in building trades they use things to build for many things and they use many materials.
