Disabilities are not a reflection of who you are but of how your brain works. Maybe eventually we won't even call them "disabilities" anymore. Understanding how you learn is the first step to success. Please use the support services and ask for help when needed. Hartnell College faculty fully support the Americans with Disabilities Act. If you know or think that you have any learning or physical disabilities please contact the Department of Supportive Programs & Services located at https://www.hartnell.edu/students/programs/dsps/. If you believe you may need accommodations such as materials in an alternate format, preferential seating, sign language interpreting/real-time captioning, access to assistive technology and/or test accommodations, etc… please feel free to discuss your needs with me in private. DSPS can be reached at (831) 755-6760, or via email at dsps@hartnell.edu.
Hartnell's Panther Learning Lab is here to help you succeed! You can reach a tutor using the online format. Click on the link below to access their canvas shell where you will be able to zoom or make an appointment.
Monday - Thursday 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Friday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Note: Please see Resources Page in Canvas to self-enroll in Panther Learning Lab Canvas.
This is a fully online class, but I will have live class sessions via ConferZoom.
During these sessions, we will collaborate on activities that will reinforce the course material you learned over the week.
If you are not able to attend, I will be recording the class and you can make up the group activities by completing them individually.
Have a question?
The Q&A discussion forum in our class is a great place for general course-related questions. Your peers might even answer you there! If your question is personal in nature, please send it directly to me through the Canvas inbox.
What is appropriate for the Q&A? Questions pertaining to the course (ex: where do I find that, can you provide more info about this topic, something isn't working properly, etc.)
What is not appropriate for the Q&A? Questions pertaining to your personal situation (ex: keeping me informed about your needs, extension requests, etc.). These questions should be sent to me directly using the Canvas inbox.
