Welcome, my name is Jessica Citro and I am a Teacher of Criminology at Hartlepool Sixth Form. I have been teaching since 2013 and my career first started out in HMP Holme House... may I just add not as an inmate but within the Education Sector!

I love ANYTHING that relates to crime and the criminal justice system hence my passion for teaching Criminology. The subject is extremely engaging and interesting which subsequently attracts a rather large cohort of students?!

This site has been developed and will continue to develop for the Criminology course offered here at Hartlepool Sixth Form and we can't wait to welcome my new Year 12 students in September! 

I have recently added a 'Year 11 Get Ahead' section which I have designed for the current Year 11 school leavers. You can also find key course information, the content for each of the Units that are covered over the two year course as well as a number of tasks that can be completed ahead of starting the course in September.

As I mentioned above, Criminology is a truly fascinating subject and if you are anything like me and love all things crime and justice then if you engage with reading and watching the videos, documentaries and films I suggest, we will have plenty to talk about when we finally get to meet!
