A-Level Art & Design
Welcome to A-Level Art & Design. On this site you will find an introduction on what to expect when studying this creative course, examples of students work - past & present and some small activities which you can try at home. The key element of this course is to be open minded, encourage new skills, develop your practice & most importantly experiment with 'Everything'.
My name is Kelly Kay, I have experience in both textiles and art, this is my love and my passion. I love nothing more than experimenting with new techniques and materials to see what new results can be achieved.

Step into the world of Van Gogh.
Within the art department my goal is to facilitate my love of art & textiles and enable you as a student to develop and refine your practice as an artist, experimenting with media and techniques to create personal, individual pieces as unique as you are.
Facts about me:- I love texture, decayed surfaces and rust as well as using a sewing machine to record these vast, exploratity surfaces.I can often be seen trying to capture imagery on my phone of any interesting surfaces, whether this is a peeling billboard or the rust on a bollard outside McDonalds. Strange I know but you can take inspiration from almost anywhere!
