Nagaoka Hantaro developed the Saturnian system in 1904. The atom was unstable because it kept on radiating continuously. The electron would lose energy and spiral into the nucleus.
In 1903 Nagasaki made a model of the atom that had a small nucleus surrounded by a ring of electrons. The Saturnine was the first to have a nucleus. It was discovered in 1911.
