Max Planck was a German theoretical physicist.
He was born in April, 23rd, 1858.
He died in gottingen, Germany on October 4th of 1947.
He was known for his quantum of action which developed quantum theory.
He was discovered in 1900 when he made a great discovery at age 42.
How he died his death is not confirmed but it is thought that he died from tuberculosis which is a disease that affects the lungs caused by bacteria.
Max Planck contributed in the atomic theory by his theory of quanta. Max Planck was doing this in order to explain the hot glowing colors of matter like how the sun is its color or any color at all. what he was intending to do is figure out how to fix an ultraviolet catastrophe.
His theory was he wanted to revolutionize our understanding of energy and the atomic structure, so what he did that had affected the atomic timeline was, he helped us understand the atomic structure by introducing the concept of energy quantization and so this idea developed and helped the "bohr model". The bohr model in short explained is the stability of atoms and their electron orbits.
The video above this text explains who was max planck, It doesn't explain what he did fully but he did explain what he was, and how he is inspiring. Max planck was inspiring in my words, because his amazing work of the atomic structure and experiments helped many scientist of modern days proceed to develop and understand the atomic structures and from the help of him, he was able to make other people in time after his discovery, continue making the understanding of the atomic structure, and has helped on the concept of energy quantization. Our advancement on technology now can further make his discovery better,
What tool/experiments did he use
He mostly used mathematical equations to help him, but not only that he has done experiments. A experiments he has done was involving radiation emitted by heated objects, which is called black body radiation. The picture below this text is the picture of the black body radiation.
Describe a practical application related to their discovery.
A practical application related to his discovery was a precise one that is the development of modern electronics and semiconductor technology. This has allowed for the creation of microchips and other electronic devices that power our modern world. Planck's quantum theory laid the development for these technological advancements that affect today's world.
A interesting fact
Max planck was awarded the nobel prize in physics in 1918 just for his quantum theory.
He was also known for his iconic white mustache in the past which was a noticeable feature he has.
And finally he was a close friend to albert einstein and they often have intellectual discussions together which basically means they talk about very smart theories or other world phenomena.
