Helpful Tips for a Successful Senior Year:

First thing to know: Senior year is STRESSFUL for EVERYBODY!!!

BUT.....WE WILL GET THROUGH IT TOGETHER!!

The best tip for a successful Senior year is to work together as a team because as the saying goes; Teamwork makes the dream work! The main team members are the student, the family members, and the school staff. However, ANYBODY that wants to help should help. Each member of the team needs to listen to each other, be honest with each other, and COMMUNICATE!

There is going to be a lot that is asked of students as they are planning for life after high school and they need all the support they can get. They are being asked to plan the rest of their lives, but they are 17-19 years old and may have no idea what they want to do; how many of us did at that age? However, we do want to discuss options such as college, the military, vocational school, apprenticeships, or a gap year. The goal is for ALL students to have a plan they are comfortable with pursuing and then help them through the process.
