Registration for Valencia High School happens during the Spring. Students who attend Rio Norte matriculate to Valencia High School. *If you are accepted into Valencia's Medical Science Academy (MSA), do NOT take Health over the summer. Health is part of the MSA program your freshman year.

March 16th and 17th - Rio Norte Counselors do presentation to Rio Students
March 19th- JHS Parent Presentation @ 5:00 PM
March 19th - VHS Open House - Counselors Available in Office
March 19th - Students receive link to Course Selection form (After Open House)
March 19th- March 29th - Rio Norte students submit Google form with course requests
March 30th & 31st - 1 on 1 Student Meetings with VHS Counselors at Rio Norte

The application and acceptance process for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year for AOC has passed.
AOC will be hosting a Welcome Meeting tentatively on March 17, 18, OR 24, 2026. All students who accept admission must attend an AOC Welcome Meeting to complete AOC/COC enrollment.

Castaic is now accepting applications for open enrollment for all grade levels for school year 2025-2026 (August 2025). Click here.
To submit an Open Enrollment application, the student must reside within our district boundaries, the Santa Clarita Valley.
