Entry Deadline:
All Team Manager files to be submitted by 11th March.
Age groups:
- 9 years old
- 10 years old
- 11 years old
- 12 years old
Meetings :
There will be a Coaches’ meeting at 7.45am on Saturday mornings in the coaches room.
Marshalling:
There will be 2 marshalling areas 1) Sports Hall 2) Walkway. All other swimmers should report to the Sports Hall to register for their events. There will be marshalls there to help swimmers get to the correct lanes.
Announcements will be made by microphone and notice boards.
Coaches and swimmers are responsible for getting to their events on time.
Spectators and Entry to the pool:
Entry to the pool for spectators is only from the main gate at the shallow end of the pool.
All other areas are for swimmers officials and coaches only. No parents are permitted entry.
Please remind your team’s parents that should they desire to take pictures, they may squat or kneel so they do not interfere with the view of coaches and other spectators.
Artificial noisemakers and whistles are not allowed.
Please ask your swimmers and spectators to utilise rubbish bins provided around our venues.
Over the top start:
Please be sure your swimmers understand ‘over the top starting’ as we may be using it if we have weather or other unexpected delays.
Please be sure all swimmers know they must exit the pool to the sides and NOT over the touch pads.
Meet Mobile:
BISAC Junior Championship will have live updates of results in Meet Mobile application for Smart Phones and Tablet computers.
Hospitality Room:
Coaches (hospitality) Room is located in the dance studio beside the second marshalling area in the walkway. Signs will be in place.
Swimmers Rest Area:
The main air conditioned sports hall is the designated rest area available for swimmers. Each team will be allocated a proportion of the sportshall related to the number of swimmers. This is the only area for bulky items such as bags and coolers. Please ask your families not to bring those items to the seating by the pool. Ball games are strictly forbidden in the sports hall rest and marshalling areas.
Please do not bring any valuable items to the event as there will be no safe storage facilities.
Nurse:
An ambulance and nurses will be available at the Meet with a clearly marked station.
Lost and Found:
Lost and Found will be held at the information tent.
Food and Snacks:
On the walkway the sports hall will have a range of food and snack items available.
Water stations will be placed around the pool deck, the marshalling areas and in the sportshall, please remember to be SUNSMART throughout the weekend.
