Students are expected to give 100% every day during class. The classwork grade is based on each student’s overall behavior in terms of preparation, participation, attitude, and completion of assigned classwork or activities. 

Science homework will consist of unfinished classwork/labs, independent assignments, projects, and test preparations. 

Complete homework will be given a 100. Partially complete homework or homework that was completed without care will be given a 50. Incomplete homework will be given a 0.

We will check homework during the first ten or so minutes of class each day. Students are encouraged to check their own answers against the answers on the board and to ask questions about anything they got incorrect.

Tests and quizzes will usually be announced at least three days in advance.
